This policy explains what information How2Bali handles and the choices available to you.

Information we may collect
We may collect account and contact information, including your email address; questions, feedback and other information you choose to provide; service usage information; and technical information such as device, browser, cookie, security and diagnostic data.
We may also receive payment-related information such as subscription status, transaction references and billing events. Payments are processed by Stripe. How2Bali does not store your full card details.
Email subscriptions
If you choose to subscribe to an email guide or mailing list, your email subscription may be processed through Beehiiv. This is separate from the email address used to sign in to your How2Bali account, although you may choose to use the same address.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate accounts, process and manage memberships, answer questions, save features you request, provide support, prevent misuse, diagnose problems and improve How2Bali.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand how the service is used. We do not use full payment-card details because those details are handled by the payment provider.
Storage, protection and retention
Information is stored using service providers that support How2Bali. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect it, but no online service can promise absolute security.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and prevent abuse. Some saved contacts, notes and preferences may be stored on your own device and remain there until you remove them or clear that device's storage.
Cookies and service providers
How2Bali and its service providers may use cookies or similar storage needed for sign-in, security, preferences, payments, performance and reliable operation. Providers may process information in other countries under their own privacy terms. Key providers include Stripe for payments and Beehiiv for optional email subscriptions.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to make a privacy complaint. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails.
